Double Shredded Hardwood Mulch Double Shredded Hardwood mulch is made from various hardwood trees, composted for at least 6 months then double ground to a uniform size. The longer the bark is aged before shredding, the darker it gets. This mulch is the heaviest in weight compared to our other mulches we supply. This rich, medium brown mulch decomposes faster than color treated mulch adding nutrients to the soil and plants. |
